The dimensions of these skins vary from
1500-1024 x 1024-800.
Most are 1280 x 971.
On a monitor with 1024 resolution, the side designs going from top to bottom on both side will be close (about an inch) from the edge of your monitor.
A monitor with a 1280 resolution will show more of the background pattern on the sides of the monitor.
If you use a wide screen monitor then you may see some plain color along the sides/top of your monitor. You can make that color match (or contrast) a color in your background by doing this....

From your Dashboard under "Layouts" click on "edit HTML"
and find the code that looks like the sample code below

changing just the numbers/alpha in this part of the code
that follows the # symbol...leaving the # symbol there
bgcolor #FFC&DA

Hi Terrie, Thanks for viewing my blog. I'm having alot of fun with it.I think to much fun..but it gives me something to do and I can see everyone's family from there. How are you liking doing the whole blog thing?
